BeDrama – Privacy Notice and Consent Form

This Privacy Notice explains how BeDrama ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information of users ("you") in connection with the BeDrama Service. By accessing or using the Service and providing your personal information, you acknowledge you have read and understood this Notice and consent to processing as described, to the extent consent is required by law.

2. Personal Information We Collect

Account and Contact Information

  • Name or nickname; email address; username, password, authentication data

  • Device identifiers, IP address, browser/OS info
  • Logs, pages viewed, session duration, clickstream
  • Approximate location (country/region) inferred from IP

Content and Interaction Data

  • Prompts, chat logs, and messages
  • Uploaded or generated assets (images, audio, video, text)
  • User preferences (e.g., favorite characters, genres, themes)

Payment and Transaction Data

  • Billing address (where applicable)
  • Payment method details processed via providers (we do not store full card numbers)
  • Purchase history, credits, subscriptions

Gender and Content Preference Data

  • Self-declared gender identity (e.g., male, female, non-binary, or similar)
  • Preferred gender(s) of characters or content
  • You may choose “non-binary / prefer not to say”; not required to provide a specific gender.

Support and Communication Data

  • Information you provide when contacting support or reporting content
  • Emails and messages exchanged with us

We may aggregate or de-identify information so it cannot reasonably be linked back to you; such data is not personal information under this Notice.

3. Legal Bases for Processing (Where Applicable, e.g., GDPR)

  • Performance of a contract: to provide and operate the Service you requested.
  • Legitimate interests: to improve and secure the Service, detect abuse, and provide support.
  • Consent: for certain data (e.g., Preference Data) and certain marketing communications.

  • Train and improve models/features with safeguards where permitted by law

Legal and Regulatory Compliance

  • Maintain records; comply with lawful requests from authorities

5. How We Share Personal Information

  • Service providers/processors (hosting, analytics, payment, support) under appropriate contracts
  • Other users if you make content/profile public or shareable
  • Legal/regulatory authorities when required by law, order, or to protect rights/safety
  • Business transfers (merger, acquisition, financing, sale), with safeguards as required

We do not sell personal information in the ordinary sense. Where law defines sale differently, we will comply and provide opt-outs if required.

6. International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than yours. Where required, we implement safeguards (e.g., standard contractual clauses) for such transfers.

7. Data Retention

We retain personal information as long as needed to provide the Service, fulfill stated purposes, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data subject to technical and legal limits. Certain User Content or related records may be retained under existing licenses (e.g., to support prior uses or transactions) where permitted by law, even after account deletion.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or port your data.

Age Assurance and Safety Controls

  • Birthdate is collected at signup solely to determine eligibility (13+) and apply age-based protections (13+/18+); it is never displayed publicly.
  • Users under 13 cannot create accounts. Safe Mode (restricting mature/NSFW content) is enabled by default for everyone.
  • Users under 18 cannot disable Safe Mode; 18+ users must complete an additional in-app age confirmation before disabling.

8.1 Preference Data and Gender Information

  • Providing gender/Preference Data is voluntary; "non-binary / prefer not to say" is available.
  • You may update/delete Preference Data in settings (where available) or by contacting us.

8.2 Account Deletion and Data Removal

  • You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us at cs@gripping.ai or through the in-app settings.
  • Upon receiving a valid deletion request, we will process it within 30 days and delete or anonymize your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Certain information may be retained as required by law (e.g., transaction records for tax/legal compliance, content licenses as described in our Terms of Service).
  • After deletion, you will not be able to recover your account or any associated data.

9. Cookies and Similar Technologies

We may use cookies to maintain sessions, understand usage, improve performance, and remember preferences. You can manage cookies in your browser; disabling some cookies may affect functionality.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age threshold in your jurisdiction). We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
  • If we discover that we have collected information from a child under 13 without parental consent, we will delete such information immediately.
  • If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at cs@gripping.ai and we will delete such information.
  • We require users to provide their birthdate during registration to verify age eligibility.
  • Users under 18 are subject to additional safety controls, including mandatory Safe Mode, as described in our Terms of Service.

11. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures (e.g., TLS in transit, access controls) to protect data. No method is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. Changes to This Privacy Notice

We may update this Notice and revise the "Last Updated" date, providing additional notice as required by law. Continued use after updates signifies acknowledgment of the changes.
